Fiber Thatch

amaZulu, Inc. offers TWO types of Fiber Thatch. Please click on the links to view details for each type of synthetic fiber thatch- Fiber Thatch Regular and Fiber Thatch Layered.

At last, the most authentic looking thatch has arrived – Fiber Thatch. After many years of trial and error we have perfected the synthetic thatch to imitate our natural version. Fiber thatch comes in two styles;

Description of Fiber Thatch regular:

The Fiber Thatch - Regular panel is made up of hundreds of simulated PVC thatch reeds, cut at different lengths and bound by a flexible urethane strip. When installed on a sub-roof, the thatch panels overlap to give the appearance of the smooth traditional thatch.

The advantage of Fiber Thatch - Regular is that it looks so real, like the traditional reed thatch, but eliminates the weathering and aging effects of natural thatch. Fiber Thatch is UV protected and pre-fire retardant. It can be used for interior or exterior applications.
